FAQS
When is your open season?
Short term camping at The Oaks Campground managed by GatherGrounds Resorts runs from May 1st to September 30th. However, we have an extended season for our seasonal sites. For folks renting a seasonal site, they will have access to all that the campground offers from May 1st, 2026 to October 20th, 2026. Winter camping over the offseason is an optional add on that seasonal campers can opt in for, but is not a requirement.
What are your seasonal rates?
Seasonal Site Rates at The Oaks:
Our 2026 seasonal site availability ranges from $2,100 to $3,200 per season, with a limited number of waterfront or larger sites being on the higher end of the range. The Oaks offers a relaxed, spacious seasonal site setting with ongoing improvements and enhancements as part of its integration into the GatherGrounds family of properties for the 2026 camping season.
Exploring other seasonal options within the GatherGrounds family?
Our sister property, Walnut Hills Family Campground, features a fully renovated layout, premium amenities, and unique natural recreation, including a river that is perfect for float trips. Seasonal sites at Walnut Hills range from $3,000 to $5,000 per season, reflecting the broader amenity package and high demand at our flagship location. Many guests enjoy having two distinct GatherGrounds destinations to consider, allowing them to choose the environment and seasonal site price range that best aligns with their ideal camping lifestyle.
