Find your kind of site

Rates vary by date and site; see our rates page. To see where each section sits, open the park map. Many sites in the 33–64 and 65–173 ranges are seasonal sites, so the booking map is the best way to see what’s open for your dates.

Lakefront (138–156)

Best for: Our most popular sites; families who want the water

Power
30 or 50 amp after the 2026–27 upgrade
Hookups
Many full hookup
Setting
On the 17-acre lake; fall color across the water
Pets
6-ft leash; no pets on the beach or in the lake

The lakefront sites are our most popular. Many are full hookup, and after the 2026–27 off-season power upgrade they’ll have 30- or 50-amp service. The trees along the back of the lake turn brilliant colors in fall, and sunrise over the leaves from these sites is one reason the park stays open through October. The lake is calm and mostly 2–6 feet deep, so bring your own kayak, canoe or tube.

Gray-water sites (157–173)

Best for: Campers who want hookups for less

Power
30/50 amp after the 2026–27 upgrade
Hookups
Water, electric and gray-water drain (no sewer)
Pets
6-ft leash

Sites 157–173 have water, electric and a gray-water drain, with no sewer, and they’re part of this off-season’s power upgrade. A gray-water drain lets your shower and sink water drain away, so only the black tank fills; a typical seasonal camper needs about six honey-wagon pump-outs a season ($19 each starting in 2027). Many campers choose these sites for the savings.

Wooded full hookup (65–131)

Best for: Quiet, shade

Power
30/50 amp after the 2026–27 upgrade
Hookups
Full hookup
Setting
Heavily wooded, old-growth trees
Pets
6-ft leash

Sites 65–131 are full hookup in a heavily wooded area with old-growth trees. They’re farther from the central lake amenities, which makes them some of the quietest sites in the park.

No rear neighbors (33–61)

Best for: Privacy and shade

Setting
Old-growth shade, no neighbor behind you
Pets
6-ft leash

Sites 33–61 are popular for two reasons: there’s no neighbor behind you, and old-growth trees give plenty of shade.

Big-rig and pull-through (17–26)

Best for: Big rigs and I-80 overnight stops

Power
50 amp on pull-throughs 22–26
Size
Best for large RVs, Class C and fifth wheels; 22–26 are gravel pull-throughs
Bathhouse
Sites 17–21 are near the renovated restroom
Pets
6-ft leash

Sites 17–26 are the best fit for large RVs, Class C motorhomes and fifth wheels. Sites 22–26 are gravel pull-throughs with 50-amp service, made for an easy one-night stop on an I-80 trip. Many travelers who stop for a night end up wishing they’d stayed longer. Coming from I-80, see the big-rig route on our plan your stay page.

Near the amenities (17–21, 27–32)

Best for: Families with young kids

Setting
Short walk to the beach and Wibit
Bathhouse
Renovated restroom by the store
Pets
6-ft leash

Sites 17–21 and 27–32 are near the recently renovated restroom building, the store with its new arcade, and the Kangaroo Jumper. They’re a short walk to scooped ice cream, the beach and the Wibit, which makes them a favorite with young families.

Tent sites

Best for: Families trying camping, outdoorsy tent campers

Power
None
Hookups
None (primitive)
Size
Tent site
Setting
Up front near the Kangaroo Jumper, or wooded near the creek
Pets
6-ft leash

Ridge Ranch’s tent sites are primitive (no water or electric), in two areas:

  • Up front near the Kangaroo Jumper: best for families with kids.
  • A wooded area between the full-hookup sites and the creek: quieter and more outdoorsy.

Every site has a fire ring and picnic table, and tent campers can use every amenity in the park.

Power upgrades for 2027

During the 2026–27 off-season, a new underground power grid is going in for sites 65–173, upgrading 109 sites to 30/50-amp pedestals. Ask the office when you book if you need 50 amp on a specific site.

Help choosing a site

The best site is personal: quiet seekers pick sites away from the lake or on the back-side lakefront, families who want the action pick sites near the front or the beach, and some guests want full sun or a clear satellite view. Call (330) 898-8080 and we’ll help. See also full-hookup RV camping in Ohio and tent camping in Ohio. When you’re ready, book your site.
