To reserve a campsite at Ridge Ranch Campground, open the rates page and click Book Now. That takes you to the online reservation map, where you choose your dates, pick an open site and pay. You can also call the office at (330) 898-8080. Nightly RV and tent sites are booked online. Seasonal sites are set up by talking with a member of our team. Here’s the process step by step, plus how to pick the right site and the policies to know before you pay.

Step by step: booking a nightly site online

  1. Go to the rates page and click Book Now. The same button appears under RV sites, tent sites, pavilions and the Wibit, and it opens the Ridge Ranch reservation system.
  2. Enter your arrival and departure dates. The campground is open May 1 through October 20. Halloween weekends at the end of September have a two-night minimum.
  3. Pick a site on the map. Open sites are shown on the park map. Click one to see its details. If you’re not sure which area suits you, see the site guide below.
  4. Enter your party. The base rate covers two adults and two children. Extra adults and children ages 3 to 17 are charged per night, and kids under 3 stay free. An extra tent beyond that is an additional nightly charge.
  5. Add your license plate. The front gate reads plates, so the plate you give at booking checks you in automatically. If you’re bringing a second vehicle, it needs to be registered and paid for at the store.
  6. Pay and save your confirmation. Keep it handy in case you need to change or cancel.

On arrival day, drive up to the gate, and it opens for your registered plate. There’s no stop at the store and no Friday check-in line. Check-in is 2 p.m. and check-out is 11 a.m. Early check-in (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and late check-out (11 a.m. to 5 p.m.) are available for a flat fee when the schedule allows. Ask the office.

Which site should you book?

The park is spread over 76 acres, and the sites vary a lot. These are the main areas:

Not every RV site is full hookup. Many are water and electric, so check the site details if you need sewer. Every site has a fire pit and picnic table. For more on the park’s facilities, see the amenities page and the map and rules.

When to book

  • Summer holiday weekends and lakefront sites go first. Book as early in the season as you can.
  • Halloween weekends at the end of September usually fill by the end of August and require two nights. The haunted house, trick-or-treating and site-decorating contest are a big draw. Check the events page for dates.
  • Weeknights are the easiest to get, which helps if you’re passing through on I-80.

Cancellations and changes

  • If you cancel more than two weeks before arrival, there’s a fee of $15 or 15% of the reservation, whichever is greater.
  • Within two weeks of arrival, reservations can’t be refunded or rescheduled.
  • There are no refunds for leaving early, bad weather or no-shows.

If your dates might change, book with that two-week window in mind.

Booking other things at Ridge Ranch

Seasonal sites

Seasonal sites run the full season, May 1 to October 20, and aren’t booked through the online map. A team member talks with each seasonal camper to match them with the right part of the park, whether that’s lakefront, wooded, near the beach, full hookup or gray-water drain. Start with the seasonal sites page or call the office. Seasonal campers make payments through the Seasonal Camper Payment Portal linked on the rates page.

Monthly stays

Monthly stays are booked at regular nightly rates, with no monthly discount.

Pavilions

The two pavilions are booked with the same Book Now button. One is the Amish-built outdoor pavilion by the lake, and the other is an indoor pavilion. Groups that book 25 or more campsites get one day of free pavilion rental. Call the office to set up a group reservation.

Wibit and day passes

Wibit sessions can also be booked through Book Now. The Wibit runs Thursday through Sunday plus holiday Mondays in season, and it returns in 2027 after closing for the year at Labor Day. Day visitors can buy a beach day pass or a park visitor pass. See the rates page for current pricing.
