A Family Campground Within Reach of Tecumseh and the Irish Hills
The Oaks Campground is about 40 miles from Tecumseh, on 155 acres in Munith next to the Waterloo State Recreation Area. It’s a scenic drive north through the Irish Hills.
Why Tecumseh and Irish Hills families camp at The Oaks
Families from Tecumseh and the Irish Hills come up for a weekend in the woods: about 120 acres of riding and hiking trails, a fishing lake on site, a sand beach on our spring-fed swim lake, Waterloo’s lakes next door and organized events back at camp.
Check-in is no-wait so you drive straight to your site, short-term RV and tent sites have a fire pit and picnic table, and the camp store has groceries, ice, firewood, ice cream and bait. See the full list of amenities and activities.
